Soft Wash vs Pressure Wash

Both clean exteriors. The difference is force. Matching the method to the surface protects your home and still removes algae, dirt, and stains.

Pressure washing

High-pressure water lifts grime from hard surfaces, driveways, sidewalks, many patios, and some fences. It is the right tool when the surface can take the blast and you need visible results on concrete or stone.

Soft washing

Soft washing uses lower pressure and cleaning solutions to remove organic growth on roofs, vinyl siding, and other finishes that high pressure can scar or drive water under. Oklahoma roofs with dark algae streaks are a common soft-wash job.

How to choose

  • Concrete and most hardscape → pressure wash
  • Roofs, painted or vinyl siding, delicate finishes → soft wash
  • Not sure → ask before we start; we match the method on site
